Child Passenger Safety

Boy in Child RestraintThe Oceanside Community Safety currently has three Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPST) trained by the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada.

A car seat or booster is the only legally required piece of baby gear. As safety equipment, it's important to use it properly every time. A CPST can meet with you to teach you how to use and install your car seat and ensure it is the right seat for the child and the vehicle. It could save your child's life in a crash.
