During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 225 complaints.

 

1) File 2019-13770: A vehicles rear hinged window was reported damaged in the 200 block of Jensen Avenue East, Parksville, on December 22nd. No entry was gained.

2) File 2019-13792: A vehicle was reported to have been vandalized with black paint in the 1400 block of Beaver Creek Warf Road, Nanoose Bay, on December 23rd.

3) File 2019-13796: A sanitation pay station was reported broken into and damaged in a local Provincial Park on December 23rd.

4) File 2019-13799: A black umbrella was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Phillips Street, Parksville, on December 23rd.

5) File 2019-13803: A Christmas laser light decoration was reported stolen in the 100 block of Sylvan Crescent, Parksville, on December 23rd.

6) File 2019-13804: A Leatherman knife valued at $100 was reported stolen from one of two unlocked vehicles in the 600 block of Phillips Street, Parksville, on December 23rd.

7) File 2019-13805: A garage door and a neighbouring shed was reported to have been sprayed with graffiti in the 1700 block of Sangster Crescent, Nanoose Bay, on December 23rd.

8) File 2019-13807: A fence was reported to have been sprayed with graffiti in 1500 block of Madrona Drive, Nanoose Bay, on December 23rd.

9) File 2019-13809: A white 2000 Ford Focus, BC plate KA9-99G, was reported stolen from the 1500 block of Island Highway East, Nanoose bay, on December 23rd.

10) File 2019-13813: Theft of mail from a Super mail box was reported in 1300 block of Island Highway East, Nanosse Bay, on December 23rd.

11) File 2019-13818: A vehicle and shipping container were tagged with block paint in the 1700 block of Sangster Crescent, Nanoose Bay, on December 23rd.

12) File 2019-13820: A men’s gold ring with a diamond was reported lost in Qualicum Beach on December 23rd.

13) File 2019-13844: Damage to children’s park signage valued at approximately $100 was reported in the 100 block of Island Highway East, Parksville, on December 24th.

14) File 2019-13847: A water pump and three batteries were reported stolen over the past three weeks from a property in the 1300 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville, on December 24th.

15) File 2019-13858: A building was reported tagged with black spray paint in the 1700 block of Sangster Crescent, Nanoose Bay, on December 24th.

16) File 2019-13859: Burnt cigarette butts, six small plants and a glass ornament was reported stolen from the porch of a property in the 400 block of Martindale Road, Parksville, on December 24th.

17) File 2019-13866: An unlocked vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 600 block of Pym Street North, Parksville, on December 24th.

18) File 2019-13904: A possible business break-and-enter was reported in the 1100 block of Herring Gull Way, Parksville, on December 26th.

19) File 2019-13911: A BC license validation sticker was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Fair Road, Parksville, on December 26th.

20) File 2019-13933: Various buildings, garbage cans and light standards were reported to have been sprayed with graffiti in the 400 block of Despard Avenue West, Parksville,. On December 27th.

21) File 2019-13934: A storage area was reported broken into in the 100 block of Middleton Avenue, Parksville, on December 27th.

22) File 2019-13936: Cigarettes, an ash tray and dog treats were reported stolen from a property in the 200 block of Evergreen Street, Parksville, on December 27th.

23) File 2019-13953: A BC license validation sticker was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Hollywood Road, Qualicum Beach, on December 27th.

24) File 2019-13968: A wallet, garage door opener, clothing and keys were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Corfield Street, Parksville, on December 28th. There was no damage to vehicle.

25) File 2019-13969: A silver coloured ash tray was reported stolen from a patio in the 200 block of Evergreen Street, Parksville, on December 28th.

26) File 2019-13971: Sunglasses, change, an e-cigarette and vehicle registration was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Weld Street, Parkville, on December 28th.

27) File 2019-13972: A tire was slashed on a vehicle in the 700 block of Island Highway Est, Parksville, on December 28th.
