Crime Watch Report - December 29 to January 4, 2020

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 203 complaints.

 

1) File 2019- 13999: RCMP responded to a report of a prowler in the 200 block of Chestnut Street, Parksville, on December 29th.  Video surveillance was provided by a homeowner.

2) File 2019-14011: A residential break-and-enter was reported in the 1700 block of Sea Ridge Drive, Nanoose Bay, on December 30th. Thieves stole jewellery, a telescope and a computer as well as causing damage to the residence.

3) File 2019-14013: A BC license plate validation sticker was reported stolen in the 800 block of Mulholland Drive, Parksville, on December 30th.

4) File 2019-14018: A counterfeit CN$100 was accepted by a business in the 1400 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville, on December 30th. Video surveillance was provided by the business.

5) File 2019-14024: A BC license plate validation sticker was reported stolen in the 900 block of Fairdowne Road, Parksville, on December 30th.

6) File 2019-14028: A BC license plate validation sticker was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Allgard Road, Qualicum Beach, on December 30th.

7) File 2019-14035:  A counterfeit CN$100 was accepted by a business on December 28th in the 1400 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville, and reported on December 30th. Video surveillance was provided by the business.

8) File 2019-14051: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 900 block of Terrien Way, Parksville, on December 31st. Vehicle recovered in Parkville by Oceanside RCMP the next day without its BC license plate.

9) File 2019-14054: A possible theft from a mail box was reported in the 700 block of Garrett Road, Qualicum Beach, on December 31st.

10) File 2019-14059: Money was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of Terrien Way, Parksville, on December 31st.

11) File 2019-14063: Fog lamps were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on December 31st.

12) File 2019-14069: Mailboxes were reported to have been sprayed with graffiti in the he vicinity of Beaver Creek Wharf Road and Strougler Road, Nanoose Bay, on December 31st.

13) File 2020-19: A propane tank was reported stolen from a business in the 1300 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville, on January 1st.

14) File 2020-36: A yard maintenance equipment trailer, BC plate UWJ80Y, was reported stolen from a property in the 600 block of Berwick Road North, Qualicum Beach, on January 2nd.

15) Fie 2020-41:  A green trowel, gardening gloves and a small light gardening tool case was reported stolen from a patio in the 200 block of Evergreen Street, Parksville, on January 2nd.

16) File 2020-46: A residential break-and-enter was reported in the 400 block of Judges Row, Qualicum Beach, on January 2nd.

17) File 2020-49: BC vehicle license plates JE958C were reported stolen in the 500 block of Martindale Road, Parksville, on January 2nd.

18) File 2020-68: A residential motion detector was reported damaged in the 800 block of Stanhope Road, Parksville, on January 3rd.

19) File 2020-85: A vehicle was reported to have been keyed in the 300 block of Craig Street, Parksville, on January 3rd.

20) File 2020-84: A residential break-and-enter was reported in the 200 block of Jensen Avenue East, on January 3rd.

21) File 2020-90: A vehicle was reported to have had a window broken in the 600 block of Island Highway East, Parksville, on January 3rd.

22) File 2020-91: A lock was reported to have been cut off of a front gate in the 100 block of Hilliers Road North, Qualicum Beach, on January 3rd.

23) File 2020-108: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1100 block of Lee Road East, Parksville, on January 4th.
24) File 2020-148: Two tires were reported stolen from a property in the 1100 block of Herring Gull Way, Parksville, on January 4th. Owner was able to supply RCMP with surveillance video
