Volunteer with Oceanside Community Safety

We are always looking for community oriented people to join our group!

Volunteers may choose to take part in any or all of these areas:

Bicycle Registration Clinics

We help people register their bicycles through the 529 Garage program.

Block Watch

Work with your neighbours to keep your neighbourhood safe and possibly earn a discount on your home insurance.

Child Car Seat Clinics

Training is provided to enable you to become a Child Passenger Safety Technician and help keep children safe when they travel.

Community Safety Offices

There are a variety of programs run from our offices in Parksville and Qualicum Beach. Office volunteers meet with the public, distribute safety materials, make KIT calls and more.

    • Take the completed form to the Parksville (100 Jensen Avenue East) or Qualicum Beach (104-660 Primrose Street) office. 
    • We will contact you to set up an interview.
    • Not everyone who applies is selected.
